Qualifications for Service

Clients are able to receive food from COIA twice per month. Four days worth of groceries are provided with each visit. Recipients must have a place to prepare meals. When seeking food at the COIA, one must provide the following:

  • Some form of identification for all adults in household

  • Proof of address for all adults in household

  • Proof of income (check stub, government benefits, unemployment benefits etc.)

  • Proof of children (for example: social security card, health insurance card or birth certificate)

TEFAP/USDA – Income and Eligibility Guidelines

COIA follows the TEFAP/USDA Income Guidelines. Click on the above link to review the income requirements.  However, if someone is out of work or in an emergency situation we will assist them.
