JOE HAYNIE

Chief Haynie has been working with Community Outreach in Action since its inception. COIA benefits from Chief Hayne’s many years of experiences. He has worked for over 40 years in the field of Safety and Security, including 30 plus years as the Chief of Fire Investigations for the City of Atlanta. He has also served many years as an Army Reservist, and held various leadership positions within state and local government.

He leads his team with strategic planning and the execution of safety measures to ensure that our events run smoothly.  When you attend one of our Mobile Food Pantry events, you will notice that everyone treats the distribution area as the “Safety Zone”; precautions are strictly enforced for our volunteers and the public!
